Citroën, Franklink Mint die-cast model Citroën 2CV year 1951 1:18 scale.

The Citroën 2CV was a car produced by the French car manufacturer Citroën from 1948 to 1990, whose idea behind the project was that of a car accessible to all and widely available, with low maintenance costs and also executable by drivers less experienced, whose task was to generate French mobility. The "Duex Chevaux" project came to life when Pierre-Jules Boulanger was at the head of the company, called by Michelin to replace Andrè Citroën in 1934, and was entrusted to Maurice Brogly with the following exact words: "Have his services study a car that can carry two peasants in clogs and 50 kg of potatoes, or a barrel of wine, at a maximum speed of 60 km/h and with a consumption of 3 liters per 100 km. The suspensions must allow the crossing of a field plowed with a basket of eggs without breaking them, and the car must be suitable for driving by a novice driver and offer unquestionable comfort", as well as allowing access by wearing a hat. Since then the "Dodoche" has generated French mobility and beyond and has always been a classic in automotive collections.
