Rolls-Royce and Bentley original advertisement dated May 13, 1954 published in "Country Life" magazine.

The advertisement was commissioned by the HJ Mulliner body shop and published for the 50th anniversary of the meeting between Hon. Charles S. Rolls and Sir. Henry Royce which took place on 4 May 1904 in Manchester. The photo shows two cars, The Silver Ghost of Charles Rolls and a Phantom IV, both set up with bodies made by the Bedford Park company. HJ Mulliner founded in 1897 by Henry Jervis Mulliner, in 1959 it was acquired by Rolls-Royce Ltd and, from 1961 until its closure in 1991, it gave life to Mulliner Park Ward after the merger with Park Ward, another well-known body shop already owned of Rolls-Royce since 1939. Today the name Mulliner represents the interior bodywork of Bentley Motors Cars Ltd.
