Jean Gras, technical drawing of the type "B" chassis presented at the 1924 Paris motor show.

Jean Gras was a French car manufacturer active from 1924 to 1930 which produced about 200 cars, the type "A" and type "B" chassis both presented in 1924 at the Paris salon were equipped with 4-cylinder engines, of OHC valves and a displacement of 1494 cm³ the first, the type "B" chassis was, however, equipped with a 4-cylinder engine, OHV valve timing and a displacement of 1200 cm³. In 1926 the "A9D" type chassis was introduced with a 6-cylinder engine with OHV valve timing and a displacement of 1557 cm³, better known as the Jean Gras Six, whose construction was entirely entrusted to the Construction Électriques et Mécaniques de Dijon branch. Jean Gras also set up racing cars brought to the race by Jean Gras himself, obtaining the second place at the 1926 Milan Grand Prix in the 1100 cm³ category as his best result. Of the 200 cars produced to date, only 4 existing chassis are known, one from 1925 restored and kept in the Henri Malartre museum in Rochetaillée-sur-Saône, one kept in a private collection and two chassis that were instead converted into racecars.
