Ferrari’s victories are also recorded several times in classic endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Daytona and in races on the road such as the Targa Florio, the Mille Miglia and the Carrera Panamericana. The Ferrari 2 L 5 or better known as Ferrari 246 SP is a competition car produced in only three examples by the Italian car manufacturer, Ferrari. The 246 SP was the first car of the prancing horse to mount the engine in a central position, the so-called "Dino" engine designed by Drake's son and characterized by a cylinder bank of just 65° to limit the overall dimensions of the Ferrari V6 engine about 2400cm3 and 270hp. The Ferrari 246 SP no. 152 driven by Wolfgang Von Trips and Olivier Gendebien and faithfully reproduced from the model is the car that won the 1961 Targa Florio.
