The tender documentation in French, in excellent general condition and with minimal signs of aging and wear/use, belongs to the crew G. Gaffier - JP Guillon who participated with SIMCA 1100S.

The Rallye International du Maroc has been a World Rally Championship race since the foundation of the world championship and until 1976, the first Rally of Morocco was organized in 1934.
The 1972 edition was, however, disputed as a stage of the "International Championship for Manufacturers (ICM)" which from 1973 became the "World Rally Championship", was won by Lampinen-Andreasson with Lancia Fulvia HF Coupé 1.6 of Lancia HF Racing Team. Thierry Sabine also took part in the 15th edition of the rally with Porsche 911 (creator of the Dakar) and Jean Todt on peugeot 504.
