Blue Bird, Lledo die-cast metal model Bluebird year 1935 1:43 scale.

The Campbell-Railton Blue Bird is a car built to reach then unthinkable records and that in 1935 exceeded the record speed at 300mph with the British driver Malcolm Campbell at the wheel. The car was built starting from the 1932 project, Campbell-Napier-Railton Blue Bird, but the Napier-Lion engine was replaced with the more efficient Rolls-Royce R engine, a 2300 hp V12 engine. In 1933 the first attempt at Daytona Beach set a record of 272 mph and, given the problems encountered on the car due to the increased power of the British V12, they pushed the technicians to redesign the car entirely and so in 1935, On September 3, Malcolm Campbell set a staggering 301,129 mph, 485 km/h, land record with the 1935 Blue Bird. The Campbell-Railton Blue Bird is housed in the Daytona International Speedway.
