The book with photos retraces the history of the glorious brand founded in 1919 by Walter Owen Bentley, for all W.O. that with its famous 3 litre Sport, sports car as much as luxurious, origin of rivalry with the other famous English brand, Rolls-Royce became the owner of Bentley in November 1931, making Bentley a "sub-brand" of Rolls-Royce, until, Bentley was taken over by the Volkswagen Group in 2003. The book traces the history of the models built by the car manufacturer of the "Widget B" and the collaborations with coachbuilders, major and not, who set up Bentley chassis produced by the Derby factory from 1933 to 1940 when, The Bentley was still independent of the Rolls-Royce.
