Alfa Romeo, solid die-cast metal model Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ ref. 148 year 1966 scale 1:43.
The Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, tubular Zagato, is a car produced by the Italian car manufacturer from 1963 to 1965 and made in road and racing versions. The Giulia TZ was designed by engineers Orazio Satta Puliga and Giuseppe Busso and built in collaboration with Autodelta, an Italian car company that would later become the Alfa Romeo racing department, SAI Ambrosini (Società Aeronautica Italiana Ambrosini) and the Zagato body shop. The TZ born above all for competitions had a tubular frame, a twin cam engine of about 1600 cm3 and a weight of just 660kg, characteristics that allowed it to obtain numerous successes in the sporting arena, the first success obtained by the Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ was the victory, in 1693, on the Monza racetrack when 4 Giulia TZs finished in the first 4 places of the race organized by FISA.
