Alfa Romeo, Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto die-cast metal model from 1966, produced by Grani e Partners Spa and distributed by Schuco.

The Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 "Duetto" is a historic open-top sports car produced from 1966 to 1994 by the Alfa Romeo car manufacturer, a car created to complete the successful range produced by Alfa Romeo which began in 1962 with the Giulia. The stylistic project was entrusted to the Pininfarina studio, while the Alfa Romeo top management carried out an advertising campaign that allowed the new Alfa to be known even in contexts outside the automotive ones. In fact, after the official presentation at the Geneva Motor Show, unusual advertising events were organized for the automotive sector of the time, events such as the participation in the Cannes Film Festival during the cruise that brought Alfa guests from Genoa to New York for the presentation to the market American of the new Spider. For the choice of the name, however, a competition was announced whose winner would receive an Alfa Romeo Spider and so after the choice was that of "Duetto", symbolizing "double harmony, in the sense that this car creates a harmonious between grace and strength and at the same time harmony in pairs" Mr. Guidobaldo Trionfi of Brescia who was able to collect his white Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto on 17 June 1966, a car faithfully reproduced from the model.
