Rolls-Royce, chromed metal lighter as the famous radiator of British cars, in chromed metal.

Some books dedicated to the history of Rolls-Royce of America also give particular prominence to the radiator, an integral and characterizing part of the historic British-American cars which, like the cars, have had their history and technical and style evolution over time. The radiator of the Rolls-Royce has always been inspired by the classic Greek style and, on the "Springfield Rolls-Royce" it was with horizontal partialized shutters from 1922 to 1925. Towards the end of 1929 beginning of the 30s, the radiator became with shutters vertical opening in one direction only and connected to a thermostatic valve. On the latest American Rolls-Royces, fake louvers were also added to the radiator to make it taller and in Derby cars imported to America from 1932 to 1935 with Brewster-produced bodies, the radiator has really changed and has been made slimmer and taller. , just like the one pictured by the lighter.
