Lamborghini is a car manufacturer now owned by Audi AG but founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO) in 1963. Ferruccio Lamborghini, already an established entrepreneur in the construction of agricultural tractors, boilers and air conditioners, owned a Ferrari that complained of technical problems. Lamborghini decided to turn directly to Enzo Ferrari and gave him advice on how to improve the cars produced by the latter. The answer of the Drake that everyone knows is "What do you want to know about cars you drive tractors?". This is the fact that historically it is attributed to the birth of Lamborghini Automobili, but the Bolognese car company is, in reality, the result of a much more accurate industrial project, studied and planned in detail. In 1963 at the Sant'Agata Bolognese factory, still today the factory headquarters, the Lamborghini 350 GTV was born thanks to the work carried out by Giotto Bizzarrini, Gian Paolo Dallara, Franco Scaglione and Paolo Stanzani, However, before mass production the body of the Lamborghini 350 GTV was revisited by Italdesign and marketed as the Lamborghini 350 GT without much success. The following years are the years of the unforgettable Miura, the 400 GT of the Countach but are, also, the dark and sad years for the Italian car company, years that are mostly remembered for the financial crises and the various changes of ownership that were leading to a slow and inexorable failure of Lambo, which fortunately avoided with the acquisition in 1998 of Lamborghini Automobili by Audi AG. The Lamborghini Islero is a car produced by the Italian car company between 1968 and 1969, not very known to lovers of the brand. The Lamborghini Islero was the personal car of Ferruccio Lamborghini and he chose it for the comfort and the brilliant driving that has not been very successful between peoples. Presented for the first time at the 1968 Geneva Motor Show and immediately in difficulty, the Lamborghini Islero had to share the stand, on the day of its presentation, with the most famous, charming and rebellious Miura and even the most characteristic Lamborghini Espada. The result of this collaboration lasted about two years and enough to make 225 Lamborghini Islero with V12 320hp engine and about 4 liters of displacement; about 70 examples are Lamborghini Islero GTS 1969 with the engine delivering 350hp. The name Islero is, instead, the name of the bull of breed Miura who killed Manuel Rodriguez called "Manolete" the greatest bullfighter of all time and died in 1947 during a bullfight in Linares.
