Jolly Club closed in 1997 and was re-founded in 2007. The trophy rewarded the winner of the 3rd division, the most powerful of the four Touring car classes, reserved for engines above 2,000 cc, where Ford Capris, BMW 2800 CSs, Alfa Romeo 2600s and Chevrolet Camaros competed.

The 1972 Victory

The 1972 4 Hours of Monza was won by Jochen Mass and Gérard Larrousse in a Ford Capri RS 2600 of Ford Köln, over 136 laps at an average of 194.2 km/h.
